1. The Warp of natural cream machine washable Australian Merino wool has been prepared and wound onto the sectional warp beam.

 

2. The Warp has been threaded through the eyes of the heddles on Four shafts

3. The Warp has been threaded through the reed which keeps threads separated and is also used to beat the weft into place.  The warp is then tied and laced to the front beam and woven with scrap yarn to settle the threads and to check for mistakes. When all is correct , the Weaving begins.
